WELCOME TO APOP_PASS!
This
service offers access to the online activity program available for the period September to December 2010
in the form of workshops (3-6 hours) on using ITs to update our teaching practices.
This new section contains dynamic tools giving users information on the
activities offered,
helping them define their
professional development priorities
and enabling them to register online.
This facilitates the
registration process while allowing participants to carry out parallel activities associated with professional development dictates (professional development committee, study departments’ discretionary budget, parity committee, etc.). The calendar of activities changes constantly: new contents or unusual activities may be added to meet periodic needs identified by specific working groups.
The program is open to all categories of
clients from educational circles or other areas... thereby creating many opportunities for exchange, discussion and information-sharing related to incorporating ITs into teaching practices.
All
useful resources for taking full advantage of the activities are available under the section’s various headings:
procedures for understanding and adopting the
computer environment and VIA software,
information on peripherals
and
communication strategies with
videoconferencing, etc. In short, all of the tools that a remote user might need to participate in
APOP online.
This section also disseminates information on
activities taking the form of short capsules (60 minutes) in
l’APOP_café at different times of the year. If you wish to share IT-integration resources and experience, you can send us your proposals and suggestions or identify people who can share their expertise. Remember that APOP is always ready to welcome
network players wishing to meet the professional collaboration and cooperation challenge.
We are convinced that each of our small
practice communities has a potential for integrating IT skills into teaching practices that is worth sharing for the benefit of one and all. We impatiently await your proposals… or your participation in our online activities!
